No Justice No Peace!/When Will it End? - These types of sayings are commonly expressed during protests and outcries, such as after the killing of George Floyd. While these statements do a good job of expressing frustration and the need for change, they do not give insight on how others can help or what justice truly means to our Community. As a result, those that want to help do not know how to connect and support. Part of 313 Table’s purpose is to help our Community come together to say what they want and connect with those that want to help.

Healing - As long as there are still unhealed wounds, the injustice continues… Healing needs to be addressed on every level from emotional wounds to correcting educational and financial disadvantages.

Empowerment - Please see comment section below.

Honor/Dignity/Pride/Love/Wake up People - Some things cannot just be given, but must be developed within each person. For honor, dignity and pride to be fostered within our Community, we must each take ownership of our journey towards true freedom and empowerment. Love is our guiding direction.
