313 Table is a coalition of neighbors seeking to love each other. Our approach is a collaborative effort to transform our community to one that is just for all in the name of Jesus Christ. We share a commitment to focus on the neighborhoods and residents that have often been overlooked, starting in Inner City Detroit.

A Community Guided by Jesus Christ

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

John 13:34-35

We gather around our table to serve.

Imagine a table where we all truly sought to serve and love each other. Each of us would be empowered in our purposes as we listen, share, learn, and collaborate with each other.

For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

Luke 22:27

Loving each other through it all.

As a Table founded in Christ’s command to love each other, we would all learn to heal and trust each other again as the focus shifts from our own ambitions to our collective community’s good.

Discuss it.

Our talks around this table would open our eyes up to each other’s perspectives as we share our experiences and knowledge with each other.

Create it.

Each of our projects would spring from our own visions and then be developed collaboratively for them to go beyond each of our own capabilities.

This is the vision for 313 Table.
